Three weeks have past since we accepted an offer on our one bed flat. We are happy that it is going to a first time buyer rather than an investor. We can relate to how the person is feeling, because we were in their shoes four years ago. We remember how exciting it was buying our first home. Although then it was only a shell...We sat outside even though it was a 45min drive just to see how it was taking shape. The day of moving in was full of emotion. Sadness for leaving my home town and the excitment of begining a new chapter on our lives together.
Yesturday we had the exciting news of an offer being accepted on a terraced house in hook.
This week we have been locked in on a viewing and ended up sitting down with the estate agent and watching TV in a strangers home. That was until we heard a neighbour outside, so the estate agent shouted over the wall. We ended up passing the keys through the letterbox for him to let us out.
We also face the uncomfortableness of having viewed the neighbours house who have now taken their house of the market. Lets just say they don't seem the warmest of peoples. Saying that I have been wrong about people in the past.
